About HOPE:
Established in 1986, HOPE is not alone in offering therapeutic equine-assisted activities! In addition to being a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, HOPE is a member center of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA), an international professional organization, that certifies instructors, provides accreditation standards and establishes operational guidelines for over 700 centers throughout the US and Canada. Even if you move, you should be able to find a program near you to continue your progress. NARHA provides many educational benefits for professionals and students alike, through regional and national conferences as well as online educational resources. Learn more about therapeutic riding at www.narha.org.
HOPE currently offers adaptive sport riding lessons at the Island County Fairgrounds in Langley for three sessions in Spring, Summer and Fall. We are currently exploring the possibility of using an indoor arena in Coupeville for a Winter Session beginning in January of 2010
